Opportunity : Locums Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist- Hybrid ScheduleStart Date/Duration: ASAP; Ongoing assignmentSchedule: Full time (up to 40 hours per week) or part time availableThis position is responsible for medication evaluation and management to a range of clients having psychiatric/mental health and substance abuse disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, under the supervision of consulting psychiatrist(s). This position serves under the supervision of an NWCSB Lead Psychiatrist and designated primary supervising physician, as in accordance with Virginia licensing requirements for Nurse Practitioners.Hybrid option. Must be onsite for most of the child/adolescent care. Flexibility with adult patients80% child/adolescent populations (bulk preadolescent); 20% adults30 min follow ups and 1 2-hour initial evaluations. Work up assessments completed by therapeutic staff prior patient encounter with prescriberVA License requiredExperience in mental health services or with behavioral health and/or substance use disorder populations required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included
