We are a 25 bed, multi-specialty medical clinic and rehabilitation center located in beautiful, rural Craig, CO. Located just 45 miles west of Steamboat Springs, CO Ski Resort. Craig offers many opportunities for local outdoor recreation, camping, rafting, paddle boarding, kayaking, skiing/snowboarding, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, etc. We provide L4 ED care, inpatient care, diagnostic imaging, surgery, laboratory, special care unit, cardiopulmonary, oncology and chemotherapy services and more.Occupational Therapist working primarily with outpatient pediatrics, outpatient adults and some subacute inpatient adults as needed.MRH Rehab is looking for a full-time mixed setting Inpatient adult/Outpatient pediatrics & adult occupational therapist who values patient care, team collaboration and has a growth mindset.We offer 45 minute one-on-one treatments, 1 hour evaluations and paid documentation time in a fun and professional environment.We value work/life balance and offer 4 day work weeks.MRH Rehab is a rural clinic that provides the unique opportunity to treat a variety of conditions in different settings, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, and long-term neurological conditions.MRH offers a supportive, collaborative and multidisciplinary team environment with mentorship and continuing education.MRH Rehab is patient and community centered and we just won 2022 Best of Moffat County and MRH Hospital was named 2022 Best Place to Work.MRH qualifies as a Public Student Loan Forgiveness employer.Job Requirements
Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining occupational therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians and interdisciplinary team.Helps patient develop or regain physical or mental functioning or adjust to disabilities by implementing programs involving practice in functional, prevocational, vocational, and homemaking skills, activities of daily living, and sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities.Issue adaptive equipment and customized splints, as deemed necessary.Promotes maximum independence by selecting and constructing therapies according to individual's physical capacity, intelligence level, and interest.Evaluates results of occupational therapy by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommending and implementing adjustments and modifications.Completes discharge planning by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers; contributing to patient care conferences.Documents patient care services via EMR charting using defensible documentation in a timely and concise manner, in compliance with industry standards.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Develops rehab and hospital staff by providing information; developing and conducting in-service training programs.Complies with federal, state & local legal and certification requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence; advising management on needed actions.Participates in ongoing professional development to maintain a level of clinical practice consistent with best practice standards.Schedule Information
