Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing daily parts orders, conducting cycle counts within the warehouse, and ensuring accurate inventory management. This position collaborates closely with the parts manager to execute these tasks effectively.Duties and Responsibilities:Utilize the IBS system to accurately order and stock parts for inventory.Review and place all stock, emergency, and critical customer orders with the appropriate vendors on a daily basis.Maintain parts maintenance tasks, including managing bin locations and part number changes.Conduct cycle counts of parts inventory and verify variances.Participate in the mandatory year-end physical inventory.Audit open orders in the IBS system and address discrepancies.Research missing parts and update the IBS system accordingly.Collaborate with the Inventory Control Returns Specialist on various tasks, such as researching no bin parts, cycle counts, returns, and missing parts.Provide assistance to counter and phone room personnel regarding parts inquiries.Fulfill any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:Strong math skills for inventory management and calculations.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent attendance and work ethic.Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
