The Dual-Modality Technologist delivers high quality CT and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Independently performs CT and X-Ray procedures, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. This role supports outpatient and inpatient settings with a variable schedule.Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent, and documented competencies in Radiology and CTPerforms quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures as requested by medical staff.Operates with limited supervision, while maintaining high attention to detail, customer needs, and high reliability.Assists medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as necessary and appropriate.Performs ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.Completes documentation, in designated area, of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.Retrieves written orders and related health information to ensure the timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures.Learns current and new computer applications and office equipment utilized at Bozeman Health.Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent, and documented competencies in Radiology and CTMontana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist)American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in CTMinimum of 2 years of previous radiology experiencePreferred: Associates or Bachelors degree in health care related studiesSchedule Information
Works varied shifts as scheduled and/or needed.Facility reserves the right to cancel three (3) shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or other unforeseen circumstances.Additional Details
Candidates must live at least 90 miles from facility to be considered for assignment.Do not submit candidates living less than 90 miles from facility.
