Clinical Administrative Coordinator

Large managed care company is looking for Clinical Administrative Coordinators for processing member referrals and meeting state required timeframes for authorization of covered benefits and services. This is a short-term, contract position.
WORK LOCATION:
1132 Bishop St. Suite 400, Honolulu, HI 96813 PAY: $22.00 CONTRACT DATES: 10/1/24 - 12/31/24 HOURS:
M-F 8am-4:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES Incoming and outgoing telephonic outreach to members and providers Demographic updates, including notification to the stat Authorization of home and community based services Data entry of various forms and assessments Member referral/assignments to health coordination
Processing mail (scanning, uploading, notifying appropriate staff, etc.) Preparing office supplies and material for admin and HC teams, if needed. This would require trips to the Honolulu office but this is open to discussion QUALIFICATIONS HS Diploma or GED 2+ years’ experience analyzing and solving customer problems 2+ years’ experience working in the health care industry 2+ years of experience working with medical terminology Advanced knowledge of Microsoft (outlook, teams, excel, word, PowerPoint) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with health care insurance Experience in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting Clerical or administrative support background or experience working in a call center environment Experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid Services
