Doosan Bobcat is conducting research on providers and firms in the identified technology areas and creating strategic and financial business cases which align to the overall innovation mission. The primary role of the investment/venture capital analyst is to conduct research, thorough analysis, and provide recommendations for investment in start-up companies, third party providers, and emerging technologies that align with Bobcat and Doosan's long-term vision of creating new products, services or businesses that enhance our global market position. *Role & Responsibility * Innovation Strategy Support

Support innovation team with strategy related content and developmentStrategically align potential partners to the developed strategy

Screen/Identify Potential Partners

Help identify firms that fit pre-determined criteria of targeted technology areasDeal screening: call and/or meet with prospect companies, evaluate potential fitDocumentation: summarize call notes and research informationGather information from the target company and industry expertsNetwork with peers working with other Venture Capital Firms

Research, Evaluate and Analyze Potential partners

Research and talk to existing references and customers of the target companyResearch potential competitors to the target companyAssist the technical team to evaluate the target company's technology including IPsConduct background checks on the current management of the target companyProvide recommendations based on thorough research and evaluation

Modeling, Reporting Documentation

Support finance function to perform valuation analysis/modellingPrepare internal documentation and required presentation materials and assist in presentation to Senior managementAssist in any due diligenceCreate, align and present financial business cases related to new technologies and potential solutions developed

*Job Requirement *

Education Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, business administration, applied mathematics, statistics, economics or related field.Experience Required: 1-3 years of investment (VC, investment banking, private equity)Travel Required: 30-50%Outstanding analytical skills, detail-oriented, proactive and self-motivatedStrong knowledge of Excel including advanced functionExperience with cash flow modeling and investment valuation techniquesAbility to produce well designed professional looking Powerpoint presentationsMotivated and enthusiastic self-starter who works on own initiative with light supervisionConfident and positive, high-energy, cultured, capable of easily interacting with senior managementFlexible and willing to get involved in many different aspects of the business as requiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighest ethical standards
