As a Sr. Business Strategist, you focus on identifying growth opportunities across our business, tracking market trends and competitors, and delivering insights on critical business decisions. This position works closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product.
The Sr Business Strategist leverages deep problem-solving and analytical skills to effectively frame complex problems, develop & present thoughtful recommendations, and guide strategic decisions to drive business growth. This role takes lead on bringing stakeholders together to develop an executable business strategy and gain cross-functional alignment. This role uses data from internal and external sources to perform detailed analysis, identify trends and define fields of opportunity for key industry verticals or customer segments. The Sr Business Strategist communicates complicated data, logic, and solutions in a clear and concise manner. The Sr Business Strategist works cross-functionally at all levels, including senior leadership, to drive strategy adoption and execution. This role uses a data-driven approach when collaborating across teams to influence change and shape business growth.
Job Responsibilities:Leverages a hypothesis-based approach to structure and perform analyses to tackle ambiguous and complex problems.Takes a leading role on projects, working closely with internal stakeholders to understand key business issues, structure and perform complex analyses, and influence key decisions.Develops a clear strategy to inform the business on the best approach for growing in a defined industry, segment or strategic focus area.Synthesizes recommendations and understands their impact on the business.Constructs executive-level presentations and presents complex findings in a clear, concise, and visually compelling manner.Identifies industry, segment and competitor trends translates them into opportunities that TFB can address.Assists in solution assessment to identify vertical or segment specific use cases for products and provide prioritization recommendations.Builds financial and other decision-making models such as market sizing, market share and business case estimates.Works with cross-functional stakeholders to gain buy-in and drive change.Education:Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Economics or related field: RequiredMaster's/Advanced Degree MBA - Finance, Strategy, Economics: PreferredWork Experience:7-10 years in a Strategy and Problem-Solving role (management consulting, corporate strategy or investment banking preferred) with experience in framing complex problems, identifying key issues that impact business decisions and providing data driven recommendations.4-7 years Strategy and Problem-Solving experience in framing complex problems, identifying key issues that impact business decisions and providing data driven recommendations. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
