JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Dickinson Law is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Support Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role provides crucial support to our faculty, student services team, and academic affairs, including the registrar's office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently. The opening is expected to work approximately 20 hours per week. The specific hours for this opening are flexible and will be negotiated with the selected candidate. The successful candidate must be able to work in-person at Penn State Dickinson Law's Carlisle location. Job DutiesFaculty Assistance Prepare course materials and assignments for faculty. Disseminate and collect student assignments via Canvas. Schedule appointments for faculty members with students and other scholars. Make travel arrangements for faculty. Prepare and submit faculty expense reports through Concur. Assist with exam preparation and proctoring. Assist faculty with scholarly writing, including assembling research and proofreading. Provide general assistance to faculty as needed. Student Services Assistance Support the Student Services team with event management and coordination. Prepare and submit expense reports related to student services. Assist with exams for students with accommodations. Academic Affairs Support Provide additional assistance in Academic Affairs, with a focus on the registrar's office as needed. Requirements and Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or Vocational Training/Degree. 2+ years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
