SUMMARY:
The Distribution Center (DC) Planner is responsible maximizing the delivery of orders for direct-to-consumer and retail stores to ensure they ship within 24 hours of receipt by analyzing historical data to wave/schedule orders in an efficient manner. This role focuses on optimizing logistics operations, inventory management, transportation planning, and coordinating with various departments to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in supply chain planning, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in STEM related field or 4+ years of distribution planning experience required Bachelors degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, Data analytics, and/or Finance/Accounting preferred Must have strong excel experience, and ability to analyze large amounts of data required Certifications in data analytics, APICs, Lean manufacturing, and/or 6-sigma preferred Comprehensive experience working with Microsoft Office including Excel Experience with WM (warehouse management) systems, specifically Manhattan preferred Experience designing and implementing replenishment strategies preferred Strong experience building reporting in Power BI, excel, SQL, and/or python highly preferred High level language, presentation, and math skills required
