Senior Program Financial Analyst . In this role, you will be a key team member responsible for program financial planning and analysis, while enhancing value and visibility to the Program Management Office (PMO). Your efforts will drive more proactive decision making and improve profitability of our business. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform as a subject matter expert on various program finance process and proceduresMentor junior-level analyst by reviewing work products, demonstrating best practices and providing guidance on policies and proceduresCultivating and maintaining cross functional partnership with Program Management, Contracts, Procurement, Operations, and EngineeringCreating work breakdown structures (WBS), charge numbers, and assigning Task Order Assignments within Oracle ERPDeveloping time-phased program baselines to track cost and schedule for a portfolio of programsUtilizing an Earned Value Management System (EVM) to track, measure, and analyze program costs, status, and performanceTracking material expenditures from a consolidated bill of material (CBOM) and monitoring production touch laborUtilizing data collection and reporting systems to provide weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting to support internal and external customersProviding variance analysis and assessing program risks and opportunitiesForecasting, budgeting, and analyzing key program metrics (Orders, Sales, Gross Margin, Shipments, Cash) analysis and reporting to senior leadershipPlanning and supporting Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP)Working collaboratively with program team and senior leadership to generate and present financial metrics on program performanceDeveloping and analyzing program estimates at complete (EACs) for Gross Margin adjustmentsHelping to develop standardized Program Finance policies and proceduresSupporting proposal development, fact finding, audits, and negotiationsSupporting special projects and Kaizen events focused on continuous improvement of Finance processes
Qualifications
HOW TO SUCCEEDMinimum:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, or Master's Degree and minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a finance or accounting roleMicrosoft Office proficiency and Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, pivot tables, etc.)This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 8 years' relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, or Master's Degree and minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a finance or accounting rolePrevious Defense Industry experienceEarned Value Management (EVM) experienceStrong communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with Program Managers and across other functional areasIndependent self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervisionFamiliarity with Oracle, IFS or other ERP systemsWe are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. Program Finance Analyst III: $81,300 - $100,430 annually, and Program Finance Analyst IV: $107,520 - $132,818.
