For over 40 years Rite of Passage has been a provider of programs and opportunities for troubled and at-risk youth from social services, welfare agencies and juvenile courts. What you’ll do:
As A-Shift Night Group Supervisor, you will be operationally responsible, through the work performed by Night Coach Counselors, for the safety, care and around-the-clock supervision of youth in the program. The Group Supervisor’s leadership duties include the authority to give guidance and direction about policy, procedures, schedules and best practices to the Night Coach Counselor Team. The Group Supervisor exercises his/her authority on a daily basis through direction and supervision of both youth and staff in order to meet expectations of the services provided. The Group Supervisor reports to the Shift Supervisor.
To be considered, you should:
Have great leadership qualities
Be empathetic, patient, and treat all youth & staff with respect
Have a high school diploma or greater
Have a desire to work with at-risk teens and direct care experience with youth is preferred
Have at least 1 year in a similar supervisory role or equivalent experience
Be at least 21 years of age
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
