EB Pediatric Resources has been providing therapy to special needs children in Chicago for over 20 years. We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to be part of the EBPR team! The Lead SLP will oversee and provide clinical services to a pediatric population at both clinic and school settings, collaborate with our multidisciplinary staff, and supervise our SLP-CF and SLPA staff.
Job Duties:
Conduct evaluations of new and ongoing clients;
Assign cases to staff, as needed;
Supervise SLP-CF and SLPAs, as per ASHA requirements;
Conduct services in school setting and clinic setting;
Maintain an open line of communication with parents and multidisciplinary therapy team;
Meet 1x/month to collaborate with multidisciplinary lead therapists for best client practices and sharing of strategies and goals;
Conduct progress meetings and parent meetings, as needed;
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
Candidate Requirements:
Current Illinois Speech Language Pathology license
Maintain current certification with ASHA and DHS/EI
