Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Software Engineer II to join our full stack team, which specializes in crafting innovative applications with a microservice architecture. Our focus is on developing systems for testing Infrared (IR) technologies along with manufacturing solutions for IR cameras/sensors and the visualization of related data. If you are proficient in technologies such as React, TypeScript, Go, and Python and have a strong background in full stack development, we invite you to apply.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy applications that support the testing and manufacturing of IR systems.
Build and maintain scalable microservices, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in React, TypeScript, Go, and/or Python.
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, from design to deployment.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced team members.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Continuously research and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and enhance the product's infrastructure.

Qualifications
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
At least 3 years of experience in full stack development.
Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, Go, Python, or similar technologies.
Proven experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, functional programming, and design patterns.
Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and UI/UX design.
U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
