What we are looking for

SCS Engineers seeks an Environmental Project Manager to lead project teams, develop strategic approaches to deliver value, engage with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders, and manage schedules and budgets. We would prefer that the Project Manager be based in our Orlando office.How you can make an impact

Manage projects, including developing proposals, contracting, leading project teams, forecasting, invoicing, and accounts receivable management.

Deliver professional services on time and high quality following local and state regulations, SCS's Quality Assurance Program, and within the planned level of project profitability.Manage and execute environmental site assessments, groundwater monitoring programs, soil and groundwater remedial actions, environmental compliance auditing and permitting, and related environmental services with senior oversight.Make independent and collaborative decisions on engineering or scientific problems and methods.Provide technical and operational direction with responsibility for delivering positive outcomes.Write technical reports and related work products.Communicate with clients, third parties, and regulatory agents regarding project status, schedules, and compliance issues.Follow client and corporate contract specifications in all activities, including health, safety, security, and environment.Mentor and develop staff.Contribute to business development activities.Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in engineering or science is required.8 years of related experience required, including field and office-based activities in environmental consulting (e.g., soil, soil vapor, and groundwater assessments) with municipal, commercial, and industrial projects, including reporting. Experience working with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection is preferred.Well-versed in environmental assessment/remediation and Florida environmental regulations.Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training a plus.A valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing is required.

Pay Range

USD $95,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.
