Opportunity for AdvancementJob DetailsWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Building Automation Project Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our Service Manager and field technicians with site coordination, project engineering, and customer relations. You will be responsible for generating submittals, coordinating equipment delivery, managing product purchases, and preparing general IOM (Installation, Operation, and Maintenance) documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, building owners, consulting engineers, and contractors to ensure the smooth execution of projects, with a strong focus on both technical and financial performance.Key Responsibilities: Assist the Service Manager in project coordination, including engineering support, product purchases, and site scheduling. Generate accurate and detailed submittals for customer approval, ensuring compliance with project specifications. Coordinate with suppliers for timely equipment procurement and delivery. Prepare and organize Installation, Operation, and Maintenance (IOM) manuals for completed projects. Provide technical support and guidance to field technicians during project execution. Analyze project performance from both a technical and financial perspective, ensuring projects are completed within scope and budget. Communicate regularly with customers, building owners, consulting engineers, and contractors to address project needs and challenges. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables. Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.Qualifications: A four-year degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred; candidates with 2-5 years of relevant experience will also be considered. A strong desire to learn and develop expertise in the building automation industry. Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Excel, Visio, and AutoCAD. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines. Previous experience or knowledge of HVAC systems and building automation controls is a plus.
