C5 Technical SMEKey Role:Develop solution architecture (SA) and resolve complex issues in a variety of projects focused on Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Cyber (C5) through the implementation of requirements analysis, expertise support, and project supervision. Apply advanced theories, principles, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Lead development of solutions to highly complex problems. Work with wide latitude for unreviewed action or decision and assume responsibility for supervision and development of first-level supervisors and managers. Oversee all technical aspects of the projects that involve engineering development, architecture, integration and interface design analysis, installation, integration, fielding and field analysis, operations, maintenance, and testing of hardware and software. Ensure that technical planning, leading, organizing, and motivating teams of contractors and subcontractors are being achieved to a high level of performance and technical and engineering quality. Research, cost-justify, recommend, and establish current and future hardware and software architectures for all aspects of IT, from networks to operating systems and shared software services. Enable system-level design and configuration of products, including determination of hardware, operating system, and other platform specifications to meet project requirements while maintaining interoperability with existing sponsor networks. Perform a variety of network engineering tasks and activities concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, and troubleshoot unique or complex problems.Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of experience with managing C5 projects including technical areas, such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, mobile IT, cloud computing, biometrics, virtual networking, software application integration, big data, and cybersecurity5+ years of experience leading teams on C5 projects resulting in deployment and fielding of new capabilities and sustainmentTS/SCI clearanceHS diploma or GEDAdditional Qualifications: Experience with collaborating among counterparts in DoD and governmental organizations and at senior levels, where customers and mission areas are supportedKnowledge of DoD IA regulations, standards, guidelines, and RMF applicable to communication activities and DoD acquisition Possession of strong written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related technical field preferred; Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related technical field a plusAgile Certification, including Scrum Alliance, Project Management Institute, or ICAgile Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;TS/SCI clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
