**Job Title:** Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2+ years of experience
**License:** State License (specific state to be confirmed during application)
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIH
**Must-Have:**- CVICU experience- Open heart recovery experience within 24 hours- Hemodynamic (Swan) experience
**Job Description:**- Perform advanced nursing care for cardiac patients in a high acuity setting.- Utilize specialized equipment such as CRRT (Prismax), IABP, Impella, ECMO, and VADs.- Manage patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 to ensure quality care.- Document all patient care activities using Cerner EMR.- Flexibility to float to other ICU units as needed.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive cardiac care.- Maintain a positive and uplifting attitude in a fast-paced environment.- Adhere to dress code with facility-provided surgical scrubs.
