We do our own c-Sections in the OB unit as well, will need to be able to circulate in this procedure, recover patient after CS Strong experienced nurse, will be 1 of 2 experienced L&D nurses on duty at night. Needs to have ability and competency to care for L&D patients and the different issues which can arise during pre/during/post delivery Schedule Information Shift: 7p-7a Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Weekend Hours: Will rotate weekends as needed, no more than every other weekend Unit Specific Information 3 rd floor Labor and Delivery Number of Beds: 6 LDR1 OBS room Patient Ratios: 1-2:1 depends on status of laboring patients Additional Details Unit Profile: 3rd floor Labor and Delivery Floor: 3rd floor Labor and Delivery Number of Openings: 1 Float Requirements: float to help on unit with post-partum and nursery Equipment: Meditech Patient Population: laboring mothers
