In this role, you will support development and QA teams by managing the source code management system, developing tools and processes for automating builds and regression testing, and coordinating and pushing new releases. We are looking for a passionate engineer who has proven experience with Continuous Integration systems, automation and testing.DescriptionYou will be working with the Build and Release team to develop scripts and process, for the automation manual process.You will: Help define processes and help the team be more efficientDevelop and maintain tools to help the Engineering/QA teams improve productivity Develop and improve on our CI build pipelineCollaborate with multi-functional teams to improve the integration and release processMinimum QualificationsBS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experienceIndustry experience in Build and Release, Continuous Integration or DevOps fieldsProven scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, GroovyFamiliar with build tools such as git, JenkinsFamiliar with Linux, OSX operating systemsPreferred QualificationsExperience in software building and build automationExperience with SCM concepts (code lines, branching, merging, integration, versioning, etc.)Experience in continuous integration and delivery workflowsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated and curious with demonstrated creative and critical thinking abilities and a strong drive to improve processesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong teamwork abilitiesPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
