Description

Ring is actively seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support the Company’s financial planning, budgeting and strategic decision making. You will be responsible for collaborating with the finance team, partnering with Ring GTM and planning to help manage contra revenue budgets and forecasts, and proactively delivering insights to relevant constituents. You will also facilitate communications across the organization, delivering insightful financial analyses and reports to internal and external business partners and working closely with the accounting function to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Managing Build meetings and inventory.

Responsibilities

Work with the Ring finance team to maintain the weekly rolling forecasting process used to identify and communicate areas that may require additional focus

Monitor and communicate trends, and assess implications along with developing actionable strategies

Work with cross functional teams (Product, Categories, planning, GTM, Subs, etc.) to help them manage their financial goals and drive better efficiency and productivity

Partner across the Ring and Amazon organizations to solve business challenges as well as drive continuous improvement in financial and top line performance

Partner with Fintech team to automate Financial reporting

Recommend, implement and report on benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance

Assist in the production and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to determine key drivers impacting the Company’s performance

Aid in various ad-hoc financial analyses and projects

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience

4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

Six Sigma Black Belt

Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence

Experience as a lean sensei, or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer

Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

MBA, or CPA

Knowledge of Tableau

Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
