Job Summary:
The AI Product Owner will be a key role within the Artificial Intelligence and Automation Center of Enablement (AIA CoE) with a deep understanding of P&C insurance operations and/or financial services operations and process analyses. They will closely partner with cross functional business and technology teams as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to champion digital enablement efforts across one or more businesses globally. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in influencing a culture of an "AI first" mindset across the enterprise, with a specific focus on leveraging Generative AI capabilities where appropriate.
This is a hybrid position based in Warren, NJ working 3 days in office, 2 remote.
Responsibilities:
Partners with the business to devise a sequence of digital and AI capabilities in support of strategic objectives. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment acting as a trusted partner between business stakeholders and enablement team to simplify, educate and harness AI capabilities throughout the delivery journey. Advocate for a positive user experience by engaging with key stakeholders from inception of an idea to implementation and beyond including establishing Change Management process. Be a key contributor in building and managing opportunity and idea backlog aligned with business strategy and priorities. Triage opportunities for suitability and feasibility of such opportunities to find a balance between meeting business objectives, advancing AI & Automation capabilities and Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA). Utilize industry, process, and enterprise knowledge to review and align opportunities for reusability, extendibility, and scalability with business objectives as key decision driver. With data being lifeblood of AI solutions, work closely with business SMEs to lead the effort to identify, assemble and use accurate and complete business data during design and delivery of solutions. Educate and create success metrics, OKRs and KPIs for AI & Automation solutions working closely with business leaders and SMEs to monitor and report efficiency and utilization upon implementation. Create solution artifacts, including but not limited to current state and future state process maps, change management plans and business continuity plans aligned with the Target Operating Model (TOM). Collaborate with business, IT and Operational Risk stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered with adherence to the COE Playbook, Responsible AI Policies and Guidelines and success criteria, focusing on process efficiency, Return on Investment, and other benefits. Enable Digital Supervisors, a role in business to monitor, maintain and improve AI solutions, to be successful. Provide necessary data points, guidance and build operating procedures to determine automation and artificial intelligence operate optimally and are frequently reviewed for continuous improvement. Maintain and escalate risks, issues, and other blockers related to enablement and delivery of automations and artificial intelligence solutions. Work with IPA and AI Program Manager to provide timely updates regarding enablement and delivery for leadership updates. Participate and contribute to the improvement of best practices, frameworks, and playbook of AI & Automation program. Experience & Skills:
Prior P&C experience is a must. 7+ years' experience in process analysis, business analysis and/or product owner role preferably using Safe Agile methodologies. 2+ years supporting an Intelligent Automation program using AI, Gen AI technologies (desired), and working knowledge of AI & Automation Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA), process optimization, opportunity assessment, and prioritization framework. Working knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management, Business Resiliency, Data Governance, Information Security and Risks associated with AI is highly desirable. Thrive in a matrix environment with the ability to influence, negotiate, and lead conversations across IT, Business and Operations. Bachelor's degree and/or certifications related to Business Analysis, Business Management, Digital Transformation, IT or a relevant field. Our Culture
