A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DRIPS!!Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.Job Requirements
2+ years of current tele experience necessary.Must have an active AZ license or compact.Ability to titrate cardiac drips required.Schedule Information
Contract length of 17 weeks.12 hr shifts. 7-7.Floating to similar or lower acuity units required.Every other weekend work required.May float between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses with notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start.Unit Specific Information
May float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, MedSurg, any & every holding area based on skill level.No pediatrics, patients 15 y/o and older.Common diagnosis/types of patients: Post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele.Neuro post surgical, post crani, spine, CVAs post TPA.80% Surgical, 20% Oncology in MedSurg C5.General MedSurg patients that require tele in Medical-Surgical B2C.Additional Details
Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer.There is a pass/fail Sim Lab on the first day of orientation.Floating to different units mid-shift can happen.
