Job Description
The individual will be involved with the mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies for one of four different blood testing machines that are utilized in hospitals across the United States. They will use screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, strippers, and drills to perform the assemblies. The candidate will read from Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follow work instructions to complete tasks. Some parts are small, requiring good hand dexterity. Depending on experience level and client needs, each candidate will join as a Level 1, 2, or 3 assembler.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies for blood testing machines.
Use hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, strippers, and drills.
Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Align, calibrate, and execute various test methods.
Maintain accurate records of tasks performed.
Execute work orders on time.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) with a focus on quality and safety.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Ability to read and follow SOPs and work instructions
Good hand dexterity for handling small parts
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read and write in English
Non-jumpy work history with good attendance references
