A hospital in California is looking for an experienced PCU RN for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience.Job Requirements
Must have 2-3 years of experience in specialty - open to first time travelers.RN’s should have experience in a ICU stepdown or PCU unit.Training is telemetry.Training in high risk medications.Experience in Arterial and CVP pressure lines; titrating pressors; precedex; trach & stable vented patients.Must be able to titrate drips.Common titratable &/or set rate drips include Precedex, dopamine, dobutamine, levophed.Schedule Information
Shifts are 12Hr starting at 645am/pm. 3 shifts/week.Schedules made out about 2-3 weeks in advance initially, then try to schedule them out 9 weeks in advance.Self-scheduling for the most part.Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule, Days - Sat/Sun, Nights - Fri/Sat.No call or standby requirement.Unit Specific Information
