The NICU has 104 beds, with 8 bed per pod. Prior travel experience is not required; must have 3 years of clinical experience in a Level III-IV NNICU. NCC Neonatal ICU RN preferred.Ratios: 1:1-3/4 based on acuity.Ancillary assistance: 1-2 PCTs per shift. Mil lab/tech located near the unit.Advanced Practice is present on the unit.Floating is required within the ICU cluster (NICU, PICU and Burn). Travelers are first to float.RNs should expect 2-3 days of orientation and specialty testing for the facility.ACH Dress Code must be followed and is available in Client Documents on the Compliance tab of this requisition.EMR is EPIC. Med system is Pyxis.Scheduling by manager or scheduler; no self scheduling. No on call requirements. Every other weekend is required. Holidays required, as needed.Patient population: Typical patient population (diagnosis) / surgical procedures completed: 23 weeks micro-premies, VLBW, usual complications of prematurity, general surgeries, chronic lung, bleeds, spina bifida, diaphragmatic hernia, NEC perforation, gastro, cleft lip/palate/mandible, transfers from surrounding Level II NNICUs, PDA ligations, body cooling.Average length of patient stay: 40 daysFamily camera available 24/7 to 75 beds, Family Advisory Board, Private Facebook family support page Annual NNICU reunions, 24/7 Neonatologist, No charge for parking, Parents will room-in prior to D/C Multiple bed area available for Pumping Moms, Omni bed & Giraffe isolettes, Dedicated multi-disciplinary teamEquipment: GE, Servo, Kangaroo Care, ECMO, Nitric Oxide, HFOV, Jet Vent (occasional), & IMVRespiratory and Anesthesia available for support. RTs manage ventilators.Requisition Comments and Notes:Position Description: NICU 12H Nights. May float to other units in ICU cluster (PICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, IMU). Required Upon Submission: Must have extensive experience in level 4 NICU (clearly noted on submission packet). Level 1 or 2 NICU experience will not be considered. Must have at least one prior travel assignment. EPIC experience is REQUIRED (please note on packet). COVID not required. Required Upon Offer: Active AR or Compact License. MUST PASS FIT TEST (no facial hair unless for religious beliefs). MUST PASS NICOTINE TEST. IVS to interview.
