**Practice Highlights:**

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led 600+ provider multispecialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established Sleep Medicine Practice of 5 sleep physicians and 4 APPs. This full spectrum practice serves adults and pediatrics in Boise, Meridian, Nampa and Caldwell, Idaho, along with locations in Ontario and Baker City, Oregon.

With the increasing demand for sleep services, our program continues to develop a regional approach within the Saint Alphonsus Health System. The qualified Advanced Practice Provider will show evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills and problem-solving abilities and commit to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care.

Specific duties include but are not limited to the following: conduct follow-up evaluations for patients referred for Sleep consultation; follow-through on physician's plan of care; order & interpret appropriate diagnostic testing and labs; prescribe appropriate treatment and conduct patient education; provide assistance in clinic phone triage and referral triage; assist in prescription refills and general clinic coverage when other providers are not in clinic.

**Requirements:**

+ Successful completion of NP or PA Graduate Program (Masters Level) AANP or ANCC certification for Nurse Practitioners

+ NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants

+ Current, unrestricted license in Idaho and expectation to obtain Oregon license

+ Valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA

+ 2 years experience as a Sleep Medicine Provider preferred
