Central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside trachs, chest tube insertions

Nail Policy –

Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.

Hair -

hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed.

Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.

Tattoos –

Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually

Piercings

– Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited.

This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.
