The Infrastructure Senior Group Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for managing and guiding a team that ensures efficient and effective Citi infrastructure in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Lead, evaluate, provide resources and drive a team towards realistic goalsManage sizeable resources, budget, policy formulation and strategic decisionsApply in-depth/comprehensive knowledge of subject domain/area to assume responsibility for large, complex systems/services/initiativesApply a broad and comprehensive knowledge-base in multiple functional areas as well as underlying business strategyEnsure essential processes and procedures are in place and contribute to defining and re-engineering improvementsInfluence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, communicating with external parties as neededAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.Qualifications:
15+ years experience, including 8-10+ years of managerial experienceExperience in a technology infrastructure role with extensive experience in infrastructure technologies and/or functions, business, as well as functional and project managementExperience in financial services or large complex and/or global environment preferredConsistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication with ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audienceProven ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and identification of best practicesProven analytical, diagnostic and multitasking skills with focus on execution and attention to detailDemonstrated ability to both work independently and partner with virtual teams in a high-pressure matrix environmentDemonstrated ability to take ownership of various parts of a project/initiative with tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectation/ requirementsEducation:

This global role is accountable for leading the Citi's Technology Production Support organization. The Infrastructure Sr Group Manager, manages multiple teams of senior professionals through other senior managers. The job requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of the different systems, theories, and practices relevant to Production Management as well as practical delivery across technology. Excellent communication skills required to influence a wide range of audiences, from the most senior leaders to the technology front line. Develops medium- to long-term plans and executes Production Support strategies across Technology, with applicability to the country clusters and in compliance with regulators across the firm. Provides input into strategic decisions affecting Technology. Full management responsibility of multiple teams, including management of people, budget, strategic roadmaps, and planning. Has authority to negotiate and make independent decisions on issues/activities that have critical impact or influence on company revenues, capital, or technology operations. The role currently consists of first touch resolution and operational support of network, mainframe, and infrastructure application support responsibilities. This role provides the thought leadership for the continued maturity of these practices and operations for the firm.
