McLaren Northern has incorporated a strict 3 strike attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor. This policy will begin on 6/1/2024.McLaren’s surgical services represent a full spectrum of procedures and tests across various specialties. General elective surgeries as well as critical or life-saving procedures are what we excel at. 2+ Years of experience - RequiredOrtho, General, Endo-Vascular, Urgo, OB Experience - PreferredMcLaren Northern Michigan is a 202-bed regional hospital located in Petoskey, Michigan serving residents in 22 counties across northern Lower Michigan and the eastern part of the Upper Peninsula. More than 230 physicians represent nearly all medical and surgical specialties, enabling full-service care with an emphasis on cardiology, cancer, orthopedics, and neurosciences.Additional Details
Health system-wide profile standardsReferences NOT required.A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required.Michigan license verification is required for nurses.Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours on bill rates over $40/hrOT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular ratesExtension Discount: $1/hr on the initial extension.McLaren's local traveler policy is to reduce the travel rate by 10%. Anyone with a permanent address within a 35 mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler.Dress Code: Hospital Provided Scrubs
