Department: ICU RN# of Beds: 33 beds, average daily census is 16Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 for adults, 1:2-4 for PedsCommon diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and Pediatrics, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, respiratory distressAre RNs required to titrate drips?: YesCommon titratable &/or set-rate drips: Any cardiac drip, insulin, sedationHealth Support Tech M-F 0800-1630RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot?: Nasal cannula to ventAre there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?: RNs required to read and interpretRadius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
