Small cathlab in the Seattle area needs a nurse for a 13 week contract starting asap. 10 hour day position open with call. Must have circulating skills and experience with some IR. Great location for travel. Very close to the ocean with whale watching, fishing and boating available. Also close to the mountains for great hiking and scenic views. Plus, the city is close at hand for all the concerts, dining, shopping and sports you can handle.Job Requirements
Required Certifications: RN's: BLS, ACLS, Techs: RCIS. Rad Tech license in WA.Common diagnoses/Types of patients: RIght and left heart cath with or without intervention. PCI. No TAVR's or open heart.Experience or 'Must have' skills: Min 2 year. Interventional cath lab.Unit: Cath LabEMR/Equipment: EPIC, GE MacLabManager/Charge Nurse: Not charge 24/7 currently.Schedule Information
Shifts & Scheduling: 4 - 10's, 0700-1730. Schedule by manager.Weeknight/Call Requirement: 1730 - 0700 for a weekday and one weekend a month starting Friday at end of day until Monday morning at 0700. Not called in very often.Weekend/Call Requirement: Friday night to Monday morning.Holiday/Call Requirement: Covered by call timeIs there a mandatory call/standby requirement? Unit/Department specific orientation: 3 days on unit with a precepter. Epic classes are twice a month. Will need to take Epic class once during the beginning of the assignment. May not coincide with first week.Looking for flexibility in travelers. Manager is contract staff at this time. Flexibility: i.e. As travelers come in and leave, the schedule may be altered. Small staff pool. Teamwork mentality. Ability to back and forth between Cath Lab and IR cases.4x10 days with call - Must be able to 'float' to pre and post care for cath lab, GI and IR patients.
