Please review the following job description:

Responsible for the timely completion of the repossession process in support of the RAC Special Asset. Provide efficient resolution to repossession, title and lien issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Achieve performance expectations for the review, processing, and follow-up of repossession related activities in order to remain in compliance with federal, state-to-state, county, laws and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) codes, and business policies.

Provide a high level of customer service to customers and Teammates in support of our Perfect Client Experience (PCE) initiatives.

Review all queues, work queues timely and appropriately, and bring any serious problems or negative service related trends to the attention of management.

Timely and accurately review, approve, process and apply payments, transactions, corrections, and fees in accordance with business policies.

Communicate regularly with peers and Collateral Management Supervisor pertaining to repossessions, potential loss, inquires, complaints, payments, vendor issues, and other situations that require special handling.

Review, manage, log, and respond to any correspondence received and take any necessary actions to facilitate handling in accordance with business policies.

Communicate timely and accurately with all internal and external parties.

Complete all required Computer Based Training (CBT) courses accurately and timely.

Perform Other Critical Tasks and Duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent education and related training, or experience

Good understanding of all regulatory requirements surrounding repossessions

Good verbal and written communication skills

Good decision-making and problem-solving skills

Good time management and organizational skills

Ability to utilize Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to work flexible schedule, including overtime as needed

Ability to travel, occasionally overnight

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's degree, or equivalent education and related training

Collateral management or collections experience

Bilingual
