We are looking for a
Business Development Manager
to join our Sales Team based in the US.
As a dedicated "solution sales" Business Development Manager, working in the Medical Devices industry sector vertical, you will be responsible for ensuring rapid pipeline development and sales in a medical device or related market(s).
You will specifically hold expert knowledge and a proven track record of successfully selling information solutions to the medical device manufacturing industry. Ideally, you will have your own contacts for Start-Ups, SME, and Large National & Global/Multi-National organisations.
This role will focus on developing sales across the medical device sector for Compliance Navigator, which may involve customer operations in other parts of the world. The role will also involve the coordination of efforts and collaboration with the BSI Regulatory Services Team, and direct colleagues within BSI Knowledge Solutions. You will be provided with a target prospect list, as well as bringing your own contacts and knowledge of the market, to create a target prospect list to review and agree with BSI prior to any outreach being undertaken.
Responsibilities:
Locate and obtain enquires and leads from prospective customers through a methodical and thorough process and validation (including cold lead generation, inbound enquiries, and existing contact network exploitation).Create clear, professional commercial proposals with corresponding opportunities (in SFDC) to present company products/services.Provide effective presentations and demonstrations.Manage agreed discounts to eligible customers in line with company policies and relevant authority levels.Maintain liaison with company departments, and group business units to ensure that value-added to the customer is maximised.To be successful in the role, you will have:
5 years' experience working within the medical device, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.Strong sales acumen and track record of success.Self-starter and able to share knowledge and work as part of a team.Educated to degree levelExperience in influencing all levels up to "C" level.Timely completion of tasks, reports, and projectsAbility to plan and prioritise tasks accordingly to importance to the client and business needsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, internally, and externally and at all levels of the businessComputer literate and proficient in commonly used software tools such as Microsoft OfficeThe ability to develop and understand company-specific business systems.Data Preparation - Understand how to compile reports from raw, unedited data
