We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and treating a broad range of endocrine disorders, including but not limited to diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances. You will work collaboratively with endocrinologists and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with endocrine disorders, including history-taking, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments.Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for managing diabetes, thyroid conditions, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and other endocrine-related health issues.Provide patient education on disease management, medication, and lifestyle changes to optimize health outcomes.Perform and interpret laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures relevant to endocrine care.Prescribe medications and adjust treatment regimens as necessary under the scope of practice.Collaborate with endocrinologists and other specialists to ensure a comprehensive, team-based approach to patient care.Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).Participate in continuous education to stay updated on advancements in endocrinology care.Qualifications
Education : Master's degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.Certification : Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC/AANP) or Physician Assistant (NCCPA).Licensure : Active, unrestricted state licensure as an NP or PA in state of practice .Experience : Previous experience in endocrinology or a related specialty (such as internal medicine) preferred.Skills : Strong clinical and assessment skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.Benefits
