Job Description:
Global Strategic & Sustainable Investments is responsible for originating, executing, and managing equity investments made on behalf of Bank ofAmerica. Strategicinvestments include stakes in companies that enhance or accelerate growth opportunities in line with the bank’s strategic priorities. Sustainable investments include LP interests in diverse-led private funds in line with the bank’s mission to address economic opportunity for all, as well as climate-focused investing and related initiatives including the development of Bank of America’s plan to transition to a low-carbon economy.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the evaluation of new strategic and sustainable investments, including transaction due diligence and legal documentation review, and management of existing portfolio investments
Develop and maintain financial analysis for use in evaluating and monitoring investments
Perform and synthesize in-depth company & industry research across the strategic and sustainable landscape
Prepare detailed presentations including senior-level updates, transaction documentation, and portfolio updates
Responsible for critical portfolio reporting processes including investment activity tracking, divestiture, and returns analyses
Execute development initiatives for the portfolio, bringing the entire ecosystem of Bank of America to our portfolio of diverse-led VC funds and their portfolio companies
Assist with the development of the bank’s Transition Plan, including understanding guidance and peer disclosure, partnering across organizations to document and implement business plans, preparing management updates
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity/venture capital, capital markets, equity research, or management consulting; significant transaction experience is a plus
Ability to demonstrate structured thought process, strategic thinking and creativity
Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze large data sets
Financial modeling and valuation skills, with ability to deconstruct a company’s financials and analyze / forecast a company’s operations
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word required
Knowledge of accounting principles and corporate finance a plus

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$91,800.00 - $206,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
