Advisor Services Alternative Investment Services is an escalation team that promotes client loyalty by providing high quality subject matter expertise to our clients and internal business partners. The team educates and partners with clients, prospects, and internal business partners on matters relating to regulation, legislation, exemptions, filings and Schwab’s Alternative Investment process, service, and policy.
As a Senior Specialist, your responsiblities will include but not be limited too:
You will join a team of 35-40 representatives who will assist internal and external clients with servicing, understanding, and finding flexible solutions for complex investments. You will partner with Advisor Services Sales, Service, Advisor Family Office, Operations and RIAs to understand the diverse needs of high-net-worth advisors and clients, serving as the central point of contact for alternative investments. You will educate clients, prospects, and business partners and resolve issues on matters relating to regulation, legislation, exemptions, filings and Schwab’s Alternative Investment process, service, and policy. Provide phone and email-based support to enhance the client experience and promote client retention through service quality and delivery of timely and accurate information.

Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations or client service role, including call center experience. Experience working in an office experience and working in a multi-screen environment with Microsoft products. Solid communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to condense policies and concepts into clear, concise language. Problem resolution skills as well as effective collaboration across departments to resolve issues, and the ability to build a consensus and persuade others in a matrixed organization. Exercise business judgment including the ability to identify business risks and articulate those risks to business partners and all levels of management. The ability to embrace change and innovation. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. Excellent time and resource management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Working experience of Alternative Investments (types, structures, and associated documentation).
