Position Type: Full Time – Direct HireDuration: Direct hireLocation: Birmingham, AL. Relocation is available! This will cover actual moving costs + addition compensation for the relo.
***Will provide technical expertise and leadership for Digital Transformations and ERP implementations involving “Oracle Fusion Cloud”. This is a large project and this person will be the technical lead and SME for the Finance and Accounting pieces of the Digital Transformation. A background with expertise in Oracle Finance related modules is needed.
***Open to consider Manager type profiles with strong technical knowledge as well as architect levels with leadership experience.

Senior IT Manager, Finance and Accounting
The Senior IT Manager, Finance and Accounting is responsible for the Financials and Accounting systems and services using a variety of applications (SAAS and On Premise) including governance and compliance.Provide leadership to programs/projects in the Finance and Accounting digital transformations partnering with business leadership.This position is responsible for appropriate staffing, people management, performance management and overall scheduling and capacity planning.Lead IT Finance and Accounting business applications team to provide strategy, implementation, maintenance, support and continuous improvement.Coach, mentor and manage staff to implement, maintain and support all related software.Owner of all system configurations, integrations, workflows, reporting and analytics in the area of Finance and Accounting.Participate/Provide leadership in cross functional programs/projects. Analyze, document, communicate changes, design and develop solutions considering the overall impact to current business processes, integrations and reports with cross business users.Service level management including SLAs, Incident and enhancement ticket management as well as delivery of smaller projects are key job duties.Partner with the development, integration, and testing teams to produce quality solutions and timely results.Responsible for quarterly patch evaluation, analyzing new or changed functionality, developing test plan, unit testing and coordinating with business users in testing activities to ensure business continuity and continuous improvement.Participate in M&A activities and understand the overall impact to current business processes, integrations and reports. Work with cross functional business groups to lead/execute the integration plan.
What We’re Looking For:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or Information Technology degree from an accredited university required6 or more years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience required3 years of experience in utilizing and managing SAAS applications in the Finance areaSolid experience in the implementation and support of a variety of ERP applications, preferably OracleExperience leading a digital transformation project within financeSelf-motivated, directed and change orientedSolid customer service skillsAbility to communicate concepts in clear and concise to management and to cross-functional departments or teams verbally and in writing

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:Pay Rate*: $155-165K*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: As this is a Direct Hire, benefits are available from the client – they include: Medical, Dental, Vision programs and more. 401K with match and contribution.
