Responsible for overseeing financial operations and analysis within the manufacturing department of AESC. This individual plays a key role in driving financial performance, cost efficiency, and operational excellence within the manufacturing processes. The role requires a deep understanding of both financial principles and manufacturing operations, as well as strong analytical and leadership skills. They will also provide monthly financial support to the management team to ensure successful understanding and execution of financial objectives.

What You Will Do

Conduct regular financial analysis to monitor manufacturing costs, expenses, and variances against budgets and forecasts.Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements, and efficiency enhancements.Prepare financial reports, performance metrics, and presentations for management and stakeholders.Collaborate with Corporate finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for manufacturing activities.Collaborate with manufacturing teams to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts.Track and analyze actual performance against budgeted targets, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions as necessary.Monitor and analyze actual performance against budgeted targets, providing variance analysis and recommendations to management.Oversee cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate allocation of costs to products and production lines and standardize costing globallyDevelop and implement cost accounting policies and procedures to maintain consistency and compliance with accounting standards.Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.Develop and report on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis projections/actuals on production, plant performance, inventory, spending on direct labor, direct burden, and fixed burden and associated variances.What We Offer

What You Need

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related degree. MBA and/or CPA preferred.7+ years of experience in a progressively more complex role with finance, business planning and analysis a focus, preferably in a manufacturing environment.3-5+ years of direct or indirect leadership experience (may include demonstrated use of influential leadership or project/initiative management skills).Strong software and systems acumen (ERP experience preferred, SAP experience a plus).Excellent business acumen with managerial perspective and strong interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated skills in identifying opportunities for improvement, creating buy-in and executing on ideas - increasing the productivity and effectiveness of the team and division.Highly motivated, forward-thinking individual with managerial ability.
