Position OverviewNexus Power seeks an OEM Account Manager for our growing electrical manufacturers representative agency. The position requires a strong independent, customer focused sales rep, with the ability to listen to customer needs, provide technical guidance and is detailed oriented.Successful Account Manger attributes:Self directedStrong teamwork skillsAbility to multi-taskCreate and manage key channel and end user relationshipsCreate and manage vendor relationshipsIdentify and execute a growth strategy within product segments and vertical marketsResponsibilities Will Include, But Not Limited To:Develop and maintain productive working relationships with assigned Distributors, OEMs, Panel Builders, and end users, at all levels of their organizationsReport sales progress/status to the Sales DirectorConduct technical presentations to create preferencePerform take-off's from project plans/specifications/schematics, assist with product selection, and negotiate/ secure ordersProvide training, joint sales calls and application support.Own customer relationshipsMinimum QualificationsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentExcellent communication skillsEnthusiasm for solving problemsMultitask with excellent attention to detail and follow upAble to learn and adapt quicklyGrowth mindedAccountable to sales goalsPossess a valid drivers licensePreferred QualificationsElectrical industry experienceLocal market knowledge of key channel partners/end usersPrior sales experience, account management, sales management and demonstrated market growthAbility to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents.Excels at negotiating, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and working under pressureProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and familiarity with electronic take-off and estimating programs strongly preferred.Benefits:401k with Company matchHealth and Dental InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term disabilityExpense AccountCar AllowanceCompensation:Competitive Annual SalaryAnnual Bonus Program based on performance
