Warehouse Material Handler Job Description SUMMARY: Responsible for loading, unloading trucks, storage, issuance of raw materials and finished parts, ensuring the stable flow of materials for the warehouse and production needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Loading and unloading trucks Pulling and stocking material after received Delivering and stocking pre-stage material needs to flow lanes Notifying warehouse leads/supervisor with any issues with work flow, material, nonconforming parts, etc. to maintain constant and consistent flow Organizing material in designated areas Unloading scrap hoppers, helping to maintain a neat and clean facility Performing material handling procedures in a safe and effective manner Inventory control as it relates to the position Maintain and submit accurate production paperwork Observe all safety rules Maintaining the equipment and facility as directed by immediate supervisor Ability to handle high demand of position REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to operate a forklift and maneuver in tight areas observing all safety guidelines and restrictions. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Munters Orientation, ISO and Safety Awareness. HOURS OF WORK:
Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet production needs. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
