Req #627Friday, November 15, 2024SUMMARYThe Marketing team is looking for a positive-minded, detail-oriented self-starter to support product lines featuring NHL, PGA, AEW, and other key licenses. The Sports Marketing Campaign Specialist position will be a key contributor to content marketing initiatives and athlete branding opportunities, which includes strategy and execution of product support materials, social media content, videos, advertising campaigns, fan engagement, community outreach, website content, banners, product announcements, and sponsorship assets. The position will also provide detailed metrics and analytics for all campaigns. The Sports Marketing Campaign Specialist will report to the Senior Sports Marketing Manager and will regularly work with the Director of Marketing.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork closely with product, design, and Brand teams to develop and manage a marketing calendar supporting Upper Deck’s campaigns.Develop omni-channel brand awareness and conversion campaigns to support sports products and programs.Identify new media, advocacy, and partnership opportunities to support product launches and manage the day-to-day relationship and asset distribution.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and consumer preferences.Help facilitate asset ideation, creation, and execution, including approval process.Develop creative briefs and coordinate banners, ads, and other graphics.Develop creative briefs and manage timelines for production of printed assets, including signage, mailings, catalogs, print ads, promos, etc.Identify key influential figures in the sports space and develop ways to collaborate.Ideate organic promotional ideas that provide community engagement and program awareness.Coordinate contests and promotional sweepstakes programs, including obtaining legal approvals, acquiring and delivering sweepstakes prizes, coordinating related promotional events, and interfacing with sweepstakes winners.Collaborate with Content, Digital Marketing, and Sports Marketing Team to create fresh content that highlights Upper Deck athletes, celebrates their milestones, and markets existing and upcoming product.Collaborate with Digital Marketing Team for SEO, product releases on the website, scheduling paid digital campaigns, and emails.Assist with compiling and reporting of key marketing metrics and analytics.Develop post-campaign review of results and recommendations.Excel as a team player and strive to maximize team/department performance.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE3-4 Years of marketing experience.Sports and/or collecting industry experience a plus.REQUIREMENTSExcellent organization and project management skills.Strong communication skills to effectively convey marketing messages across various channels and engage target audiences.Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities and adhere to deadlines.Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.Solid research and analytical skills.Experience with Microsoft Suite: Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.Experience creating and/or editing videos is a plus.Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign experience is a plus.Solid knowledge in all relevant social media platforms.Experience with WordPress Blog publishing a plus.Professional demeanor; team player orientation. Ability to interface with internal and external parties at all levels.Ability to perform duties under minimal supervision while exercising discretion and independent judgment.Hands-on, energetic, and motivated self-starter.
