Summary:
Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Director of Social Media for our growing Marketing & Media team. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about all things social media and has a proven track record in team leadership, strategy setting, and applying unique ideas to grow audiences and brand affinity. As the Director of Social Media, you will be the right hand to the VP, Social Media and oversee, manage, and develop strong strategic recommendations on the day-to-day implementation of the social media strategy across Fanatics Collectibles brands and platforms (Topps, Bowman and more).
What you will be doing…
Developing strong strategic plans and recommendations for various product launches, events and major sports moments.
Developing and implementing innovative and engaging social media campaigns to enhance audience interaction and grow account following.
Partnering with Content and Production teams to execute video and still image content ensuring cohesive and timely social media coverage.
Analyzes social media metrics and trends to optimize content performance and make recommendations for future strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionally to execute social-specific content and campaigns to support brand and company objectives.
Lead and mentor a team of social media managers, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a collective and creative work environment across the team.
What you will bring…
10+ years’ experience in high-pace environment with a high-profile brand
Inherent understanding of internet culture, social demographics, how to build community, and know how to show up in social in an authentic way
Proven ability to manage timelines, lead high-performing team and scaling high volume of engaging posts.
Experience influencing marketing and product leaders and collaborating across multiple teams
Must have a proven track record of growing large followings.
Ability to work autonomously while taking direction from leadership
Exceptional communication skills, including written, editing, verbal and presentations
Passionate about sports and consumer brands and knowledge of the trading card and collectibles space
Able to travel as needed; work flexible hours/days of week and weekends
The salary range for this position is $168,000- $210,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
