Responsible for executing the vision and direction to enable the enterprise to achieve strategic technology and business objectives. Shape the transformation strategy to create an IT ecosystem, drive execution and implementation of strategic and operational plans. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop an IT vision that supports organizational needs and broader business goals.What you doThis role will be responsible for delivery of the multi-year Enterprise Operations Transformation Roadmap.Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop technology solutions that address business requirements, drive efficiency, and enhance overall operational capabilities.Oversee the implementation of new technologies and processes, ensuring seamless integration into the existing IT infrastructure and minimal disruption to business operations.Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends, industry best practices, and advancements in IT transformation methodologies, and propose innovative ideas to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness.The role will work across various IT capabilities to identify and staff needed technical skills on the teams for delivery while ensuring delivery standards and governance is followed.Assess risks associated with transformation projects, develop mitigation strategies, and provide guidance to mitigate potential issues or roadblocks.Develop and execute a comprehensive roadmap for transforming core business systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.Lead critical discussions across organizational lines, addressing issues and providing optimal solutions.Analyze complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables and insights.Ensure alignment of technology solutions with other Allianz operating entities and with global standards.Act as a change agent to spearhead system transformations across business-critical solutions.Lead the transition from legacy systems to new, integrated business platforms, ensuring smooth implementation and employee adoption.Facilitate communication and engagement to ensure successful technology adoption and changes.Understand IT industry best practices, standards, and resources (Gartner, vendors, etc.) to ensure continuous optimization of IT delivery effectiveness. Understand and support the mission, goals, and priorities of Allianz Technology.What you bring11+ years of experience required: Expert in leading and directing IT solution delivery.Experience with leading and delivering large scale transformation programs.Four-year degree required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.In-depth understanding of business operations in an insurance organization, operations management of new business and inforce transactions.Experience executing on straight through processing (STP) initiatives, optimizing operations processes and flows.Experience with contact center technologies, including telephony and CRM solutions.Enterprise Architecture experience and ability to navigate complex technology landscapes with an understanding of system integrations and data flows.Previous experience managing matrixed vendor relationships and holding vendors accountable for outcomes.Adept at building networks and strong partnerships with executive-level business leaders to drive strategic initiatives.Ability to think strategically and analytically about business challenges resulting in successful outcomes.Proven track record of successfully delivering results in a highly matrixed role, working to influence and align cross-functional teams with competing priorities.Skillful at navigating ambiguity.
