Lead or assist in the structuring of tax credit transactions from inception to closing.Draft, review, and negotiate tax equity agreements, loan documents, and legal opinions.Oversee the due diligence process to ensure compliance and accuracy.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address and resolve business and legal issues.Manage and coordinate multiple aspects of complex transactions to ensure timely and successful completion.Requirements:
A minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in tax credit finance within a law firm setting.Demonstrated expertise in handling historic tax credits and renewable energy tax credits.Proficiency in analyzing financial projections related to tax credit transactions.Strong leadership and project management skills.Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized and accredited law school.A strong academic record that reflects exceptional analytical and legal skills.Certifications:
Active license to practice law in the state of Ohio or eligibility for admission to the Ohio Bar.Skills:
Exceptional legal drafting and negotiation abilities.Advanced analytical skills for reviewing financial projections and complex legal documents.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Job Location:
