HR Recruiter - REACH
role primarily supports the REACH division of the agency's staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising hiring managers, and owning the new hire onboarding process.The role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of job postings, as well as being the primary contact for hiring managers, candidates, and new hires.The position schedule is 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The location is onsite with a hybrid schedule as follows: Hybrid, with 4 (four) days in-office, 1 (one) day remote. There is a minimum requirement of onsite 4 (four) days each week.
(Remote schedule may shift based on need).The HR Recruiter-REACH role supports multiple locations within the Seattle area and may occasionally be responsible for supporting hiring within the Clinic Services and Administration divisions with locations outside of Seattle, including Renton and Olympia.The annual salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000. ETS strives to achieve pay equity and transparency as part of our goal to create an equitable workplace.RequirementsWhat you contribute to this role – Responsibilities:Help ETS succeed in carrying out our mission through working together with other staff to transform systems of harm and inequity to create different approaches to improving community health and safety through addressing substance use and homelessness.Assist with the organization-wide initiative to reimagine our interconnectedness within our community to overcome the aspects of our society and organizational culture shaped by white supremacy and settler colonialism.Coordinate the agency’s hiring and onboarding processes and effectively advertise/recruit for open positions.Partner with the agency hiring managers regularly to ensure accurate understanding of position needs, by building hiring management profiles for department-specific hiring.Review job descriptions with hiring managers to ensure proper alignment with roles.Coordinate scheduling and assist with all aspects of interview needs.Conduct skills assessment testing and grading for candidates.Sourcing and “Pipeline” development including speaking at local schools and other sources.Facilitate checking references and background checks.Provide administrative orientation to new employees and ensure onboarding documentation is received and up to date.Daily review of job applications submitted through Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Taleo, and other sources such as Indeed.Communication with job candidates about application status, as well as with Clinic Hiring Managers about staffing needs.Track and report job postings weekly to agency Executives.Assist with the sourcing of candidates and job fair recruitment.Participate in Evergreen Treatment Services HR initiatives projects and department continuous improvement activities.Serve/speak as host of our semi-monthly New Hire Orientation.
Note: New and/or different duties and responsibilities may be assigned to this job at any time.What you bring to this role – Qualifications:Education and/or Relevant and Lived Experience (if applicable):Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Minimum 3 years of HR experience in administrative, recruitment, orientation, and/or training.Experience using Human Resource software (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Paylocity experience preferred.Knowledge and Skills:Have an understanding of racial justice and social equity and a commitment to helping create an equitable environment for all ETS clients and patients as well as fellow staff.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, patients, and staff from a wide variety of ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds.Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS Systems.Possess strong critical thinking skills to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.Dependable, able to work under pressure, receptive to change, willing to learn, cooperative approach to problem-solving.Ability to generate, read and interpret general business correspondence, policies and procedures, referral information, financial documentation, and applicable government regulations.Strong interpersonal skills and verbal/ written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload, work independently, and complete tasks timely and efficiently.Flexible team player, with excellent attention to detail.Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling highly sensitive information.Ability to set boundaries, resolve conflict and de-escalate issues.Computer literate, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent suites such as Google Workspace), as well as a high level of initiative in keeping current with technological changes. Skills needed include basic functions such as utilizing MS Outlook email and calendaring programs (or equivalent) and sending attachments, using MS Teams or equivalent chat, call, and videoconference features, and navigating search engines such as Edge or Google and carrying out browser searches and website benchmarking steps.Additional Essential Information:Physical Conditions and Requirements:The employee may be exposed to illicit drug residues and fumes or other bio-hazardous materials when carrying out job functions. There is also potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens. ETS will provide employees with appropriate training to limit the risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Policies and procedures are in place addressing each item specifically.The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear; frequently required to stand, walk, and kneel; occasionally to climb balance, or stoop; rarely to crouch or crawl.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to
30 pounds . Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, color, and peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
