full-time CNC Programmer and Machinist in Sacramento, CA facility . Summary:
Develop CNC Programs for machine parts production using Mastercam CAD/CAM software, along with setting up and operating CNC Routers and Mills.
Responsibilities include:Write CNC programs and modify existing ones for manufacturing of machined parts.Adjusting Machine Settings and Job set up of CNC Mills and Routers.Use post processor software to convert toolpaths created in CAD/CAM programming.Reading, converting and interpreting design blueprints.Create, design, and machine fixtures and tooling for production of parts.G-Code Machine editing.Reverse Engineering of existing parts to create CNC Programs for manufacturing.Support routine machine maintenance and repair.Create PDF blueprints/Drawings for production and Quality Control.Train new and existing personnel on machine operations and procedures.Maintain quality control documents and set up information.Maximize programs for better run times, material yields, and scrap rates.Requirements:Proven CNC CAD/CAM Programming Experience.Strong Mathematical skills, including basic algebra and geometry.Skills in Operating CNC Machining and tooling, as well as precision measurement tools.Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
