Enterprise Engineering Lead
to lead a new award opportunity in
Northern Virginia
.
This program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable the customer to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities. These services will deliver exceptional execution value to internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
As the Engineering Lead, you serve as a Key Personnel (KP) and provide subject-matter expertise and technical oversight to of engineering-related activities throughout this program:
Provide enterprise-level IT engineering-related services for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICs environments.
Plan, conduct and oversee all technical aspects of projects; coordinate the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects.
Ensure incorporation of best practices based on industry and organizational standards.
Collaborate with strategic industry partners to evaluate new products/capabilities.
Develop and apply advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of highly complex system requirements and problems.
Design, configure, test and deploy new and modified IT service technologies.
Design computing performance and system configuration information.
Forecast long-term capacity and performance requirements.
Support DevSecOps-enabled delivery methodologies, technologies, platforms, and/or pipelines.
Plan and transition IT systems to DoD enterprise or shared services, cloud environments and/or to hybrid operating environments.
Review completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and provides management overview.
Train, mentor and motivate staff to meet individual, team and contractual obligations and thresholds while ensuring individual career growth and development.
Establish team goals and strategy to evolve the team towards best in class/industry standards from a performance and customer satisfaction standpoint.
Collaborate with the Training Coordinator to ensure engineering staff is properly trained
Prepares reports and/or make recommendations regarding new technology to senior leadership.
Deliver executive-level technical briefings and presentations to senior Government personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree;
additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
15+ years of experience
providing enterprise-level IT engineering-related services. Experience providing enterprise-level IT engineering-related services for
NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICs environments.
Proficiency with enterprise-class storage and data protection technologies such as: storage and backup arrays, SAN switches, backup software, and storage replication technology.
Experience supporting
DevSecOps
-enabled delivery methodologies, technologies, platforms, and/or pipelines.
Experience with transition of IT systems and services to DoD enterprise or shared services, cloud environments and/or to hybrid operating environments.
Experience delivering executive-level technical briefings and presentations to senior Government personnel.
Project Management Professional (PMP)
certification or equivalent experience.
One or more DoDD 8140.01 certifications
TS/SCI
Desired Qualifications:
One or more
cloud security certification
(e.g., CompTIA, Cloud Security Alliance) or cloud-related technology certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, etc.)

The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
