Job Description

The Learning & Leadership Development (L&LD) Specialist will play a critical role in supporting AbbVie's Learning & Leadership Development initiatives. This position is responsible for managing our technology platforms, coordinating logistics for global leadership programs, and maintaining high standards for branding and communications. The ideal candidate is technologically savvy, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Management:

Act as the primary technology lead for the L&LD department to include AI, HR Connect optimization, and L&LD Partners SharePoint.

Manage the implementation of new technologies and ensure their integration into existing processes.

Administer and manage various platforms such as our eLearning system, live workshop registration system, and HRConnect pages.

Program Coordination:

Coordinate logistics for key global development programs, including the Leading at AbbVie Program and HR People Leader Development (HR Grow).

Create and manage templates and distribution lists for targeted marketing emails.

Continuously monitor and analyze program metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Specific Executive Development/Leadership Development Program (ED/LDP) Support:

Oversee annual maintenance tasks, including pre-work assignments, registration system management, assessment completion tracking, and follow-up communications with participants.

Handle the dissemination and consolidation of program evaluation surveys.

Manage annual communications for ED programs (e.g., Maestro) with drafts provided by program leads.

Create and maintain Talent Pools in Workday, ensuring quarterly updates.

Provide on-site support for in-person Key Talent Programs.

Serve as a production team member for Learn.Develop.Perform. (LDP) Week and monthly webinars.

Branding and Sustainability:

Ensure that all L&LD workshop materials and branding collateral are up-to-date.

Develop and implement a sustainability plan for future updates to branding and materials.

Financial and Contract Management:

Partner with Purchasing, the Talent Team supplier partners, and Accounts Payable to manage contract submissions, invoice processing, and tracking.

Lead monthly review sessions with Finance to ensure accurate charge tracking and adherence to budget allocations for L&LD expenditures.

Administrative Responsibilities:

Co-manage the enterprise Talent Development and Executive Development mailboxes

Track all workshop cancellations

Oversee requests for Learning Centers A & B reservations

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required, Bachelors degree preferred

Strong technical acumen.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​

Salary: $62,500 - $118,500
