Position Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping Roers Companies’ growth trajectory by developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for our diverse range of properties. This position requires a dynamic individual with proven leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of both market-rate and affordable housing sectors.
Responsibilities
Assess and optimize the property marketing team’s strengths, weaknesses, and training needs.
Review and streamline existing marketing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement new tools, technologies, or workflows to enhance our ability to manage multiple lease-ups concurrently.
Develop marketing plans and budgets for new brands, ensuring seamless execution to hit KPIs.
Lead multi-channel campaigns, including design, print, digital, email, and social media strategy.
Oversee social media presence, paid ads, content strategy, and ROI analysis for new brands.
Manage junior marketing team members, providing guidance and development opportunities.
Establish regular meetings and reporting mechanisms to keep teams aligned and informed about the progress of each lease-up. Lead weekly marketing calls to ensure team alignment on objectives and progress.
Track KPIs and distribute weekly reports to stakeholders, analyzing performance metrics. Identify areas for improvement and celebrate successes.
Closely track market trends and competition, monitoring the market for opportunities to differentiate, tracking pricing, and leasing trends, and using data to drive new marketing solutions and strategies.
Implement a comprehensive training program to ensure team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles as it relates to marketing.
Keep the team updated on industry trends and best practices.
Explore and implement technology solutions to automate repetitive tasks, enhance data analysis, and improve overall efficiency in marketing processes.
Develop scalable and adaptable strategies to accommodate the growth of lease-ups.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field and 5 years experience OR High School diploma and 10 years experience (Master’s degree preferred).
5+ years of proven experience in property marketing, with a track record of success in both market-rate and affordable housing sectors.
Skills / Abilities
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of the real estate industry and market trends.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong drive and the ability to self-motivate in the face of multiple priorities while managing time efficiently.
Computer skills: Microsoft Word & Excel, knowledge of internet, email, and social media as it pertains to marketing the property.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with and influence a wide range of people.
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have good time management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
High degree of professionalism; able to deal with extremely confidential information.
