Job Description Summary The Director of eCommerce Product Management will lead the creation, improvement, and performance growth of best-in-class digital rental experiences by defining product vision, strategy and orchestrating full lifecycle management of customer-facing B2B and B2C eCommerce product portfolio. This eCommerce leadership role is accountable for maturing the product management discipline working within agile principles, advocating for customers, and balancing continuous iteration and innovation, while continuously releasing features that contribute to business revenue growth and user adoption of the eCommerce product portfolio.

Position Responsibilities:

Define product portfolio vision and roadmaps based on a strong understanding of customer needs and in alignment with enterprise strategy. Oversee and manage ongoing prioritization of the product portfolio, working with stakeholders to align roadmaps based on intake from customer requests, internal tickets, and organizational goals. Develop and motivate a high-performing product management team. Implement a scalable product management framework to create cross-functional alignment on product roadmaps, prioritization, agility, productivity, and predictable release cadence. Ensure product teams develop solution designs for new features that address opportunities and deliver high-quality backlog of groomed user stories that meet the definition of ready: clear articulation of value, acceptance criteria, and testable. Champion organizational change initiatives in a way that helps people understand, appreciate, and support agile, digital, and customer obsession. Organize and lead cross-functional product teams to achieve business objectives by being flexible and presenting a range of options or solutions to execute. Support program management in identifying and analyzing delivery bottlenecks and/or failures that hinder productivity; identify, champion and execute solutions for continuous improvement. Gain root cause understanding of run-the-business challenges and opportunities where eCommerce products can help solve or improve operational efficiencies and customer experiences throughout the rental lifecycle. Drive business value through product portfolio; maximize and communicate ROI achievement. Maintain expert knowledge of market opportunities and competitive landscape. Manage proactive communication around delivery accomplishments that include measurable KPI impact. Oversee the development of superior go-to-market plans, collateral, FAQs, presentations, and white papers in coordination with marketing, sales, operations, customer engagement, and training teams. Apply knowledge to coach and mentor enterprise Product Management teams to successfully achieve goals and objectives.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

10+ years of digital product management experience. Team player who possesses strong relationship building, analytical, communication and presentation skills. Expert knowledge in roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and requirement definition via user stories. Proven experience in leading cross-functional digital product development throughout all phases of the product lifecycle; demonstrated record of product delivery and success. Expert agility (Kanban, SAFE, Scrum) and change management experience. Proven ability to drive goals across cross-functional teams. Track record of building product organizations. Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with executive management. Ability to work well with multiple vendors in onshore, near shore and offshore arrangements; has vendor sourcing and management skills. Exceptional knowledge of program management strategies and KPIs. Intellectually curious and exploratory. Comfortable navigating between big ideas and executional reality. Possess a high level of self-awareness. Naturally a consensus builder and thoughtful relationship manager. Self-starter, requires minimal direction to accomplish goals. Business, financial, and legal acumen. Rental, logistics, or supply chain industry experience a plus. Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements. Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives with changing demands and a sense of urgency and accountability on personal and team deliverables. Forward thinker willing to disrupt the status quo through an accelerated effort. Ability to work independently and take ownership, while having fun. Bachelor’s degree related to product management, computer engineering, business, communications, analytics, marketing, sales, or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job.
